What is creative arts psychotherapy?

Creative arts psychotherapy is a dynamic form of therapy that harnesses the power of artistic expression—through visual art, music, drama, and movement—to support emotional exploration and healing. This approach provides a non-verbal pathway for individuals to process complex thoughts and feelings, often reaching places words alone cannot. Creative arts therapy establishes a safe, non-judgmental space to explore what you’re feeling and how that’s reflected in your creations. These creative activities support you to understand yourself better, help you to process feelings and make positive changes in your life.
